How to Use the ResizePic Tool

Easily resize your images to specific dimensions with just a few clicks. Follow this step-by-step guide to get started.

Step 1: Upload an Image

  • Click on the area that says "Click to upload an image".
  • Select a JPG, PNG, or GIF file from your computer and open it.
  • After uploading, you will see the file name, an image preview, and resizing options below the preview.

Step 2: Set the New Dimensions

The original dimensions of your image will automatically appear in the Width and Height boxes.

  • Maintain Aspect Ratio (recommended):
    • Keep the "Maintain aspect ratio" checkbox ticked.
    • Change either the Width or the Height value. The other value updates automatically to preserve proportions.
  • Set Custom Dimensions:
    • Uncheck the "Maintain aspect ratio" checkbox.
    • Enter new numbers for both Width and Height.
    • The tool will center and crop the image to fit without stretching or distortion.

Step 3: Resize Your Image

Once the new dimensions are set, click the blue "Resize Image" button to apply changes.

Step 4: Download the Result

After processing, a preview of your resized image appears at the bottom.

Click the green "Download Image" link to save it to your computer.

Important Notes

  • Output Format: All resized images are saved in PNG format, no matter the original file type.
  • Animated GIFs: Resizing an animated GIF will produce a static (non-moving) image.

ResizePic makes it simple to resize images with precision while keeping your workflow smooth and quick.
